My New Toy!

This weekend, we bought ourselves a new camera. A fancy Nikon CoolPix P500. I am excited to play around with it.
It has a 36x zoom, which is awesome for car shows. It would have been great at the elk ranch last weekend too. It will be nice for Lake Powell.
It has an easy panorama function, where you stand in one spot and swipe the camera over a 180 or 360 degree area and it is one continuous picture, which will be awesome at car shows.
But the biggest reason we bought it is to catch sweet memories of our little guy as he continues to grow way too fast!

Gobble, gobble!

My cute boy with his new turkey toy. The sound it makes, and the tickling of it's furry head makes him giggle. :)

Halloween!

PopEye, Olive Oyl and Sweet Pea!

After having our family pictures done at Sears, they keep sending me email coupons. One of them was for a multi-image Halloween picture. So, we dressed up and got some pics done. Hudson was awake the whole time, and mostly pretty good.

So, our appointment was at 11:00, and we were running late. Hudson was not happy to have to wait. As we stood at the door, daddy holding the car seat, he started fussing. Royce tried talking to him, but that didn't work. After a couple minutes (or less) he looked at me and said "do something, please..." so I took the car seat and started swinging him. He hushed right down. Daddy must have taken note, 'cuz he kept that car seat moving the rest of the time at Sears, plus bounced him on his knees when we did family pics, and with the individual of Hudson, daddy snuck behind the background and rocked the seat he was on. Good thinking, daddy!! Hudson seems to fuss more when he is with daddy, so poor Royce thinks the kid doesn't like him. But it seems like he is learning more and more about how to hold him and move him.
