Good Game, Raptors!!
What a great game last night! Of course, I don't actually watch most of the game. I'm there for the company. I love our little section E family! We have a sweet family that sits in front of us, Ann and Larry have 4 season tickets. They come every game, and their kids switch off, from Ryan Rob & Heidi, and Brian & Wendi. Rob & Heidi have an adorable baby boy that they adopted, Braxton, who is probably around 8 months old. We haven't seen them much this year, they probably come to the games we miss! And Brian and Wendi have the cutest little girls, Peyton and McKinley. Peyton is 2, McKinley just turned 1. We love these kids!! Also, we have Lisa and Brian and their kids, Tyler (10?) and Drew (7?). And Lisa's mom and dad. And Lisa's sister Heather, and her two little boys, Jaxon and Dillon. Anyways, I'm usually too busy talking to everyone, or just watching or playing with the kids, to actually watch the game. Last night, we played with McKinley.
She climbed over the seat to see Royce!

But, the game was a good one too, we were neck and neck, tied 4-4 up to the 9th inning. Then, when we had a runner on base, two outs, and a big hitter up to bat, they walked him. Chicken! But, the next batter was determined and he hit it straight out of the park, before anyone even knew what was happening! It was AWESOME!!!

Moving right along!
The ball game last night was an exciting one! First, it was good 'cuz our friend Mike E was going with us. Then, it was $1.00 hotdog night. But the best part was that they won! The score ended up being Raptors 8, Idaho Falls Chukars 3. The 5th inning was the best, with the Raptors bringing in most, maybe even all, of those 8 runs!
So, today is Tuesday. The second Tuesday of the month, actually. That means that it is Wasatch Rods and Customs' cruise night. This month, we are going to Rovali's, my favorite Italian Restaraunt! It will be a great cruise! Royce and I are even bringing the trailer, just 'cuz. So that means I got to drive the Corvair to work. And it is running GREAT!! I enjoyed hot-rodding around at lunch time, searching for raffle prizes. Got some pretty cool stuff too!
Also got a call from a fella in Idaho asking about our car show. I love when the calls start coming in! I also talked to Carolyn with Ogden City and made sure we were good to go ahead and close off the road behind the shop for more parking. Got the go-ahead! And, last, but not least, Royce talked to our trophy guy and the main trophies are done, but the small "thank you's" are not. Everything will be ready Friday afternoon. It makes me a little nervous waiting until day-of to pick everything up, but I have faith in our guy...

Here we go, Raptors, Here we go!
My poor Raptors have been ignored because of my amazing vacation! But on Monday night, we did attend our first game. The first home game was actually on Thursday, while we were in Pueblo. I was sad that I had to miss the first game. And not for the actual game of baseball. That's really very little of what I go to the games for. I go for the people. My other family. It was nice to see everyone again!

Not pictured: the Weirs!
Our little section has grown to be so much more than just "neighbors" we are family. I love these people!
